Sotiris Liasidis is a former President of the Family Court, having served in the judiciary for 30 years. He has published a series of works covering both Family Law and other areas of law. He has served as a lecturer and examiner for the Legal Council and has delivered numerous lectures on Family Law topics.
He has attended various conferences both domestically and internationally on issues of Family and European law, including a conference on mediation in family disputes. He also participated as an expert in the preparation of the Council of Europe’s online HELP programme titled Family Law and Human Rights.
Furthermore, he has authored several articles primarily focused on Family Law, is the publisher of the journal “Review of Family Law”, and took part in the discussions of the Parliamentary Legal Affairs Committee for the drafting of the Law on Mediation in Family Disputes.
